Bengbu Shenzhou Machinery Co., Ltd. has recently completed construction and final acceptance of a 55?meter Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel, which is now en route to Turkey. The vessel is fully equipped with a high?performance CAT? propulsion system supplied by LSH Machinery, ensuring reliable and safe support for offshore operations in Turkish waters.
Measuring 55 m in length, 13.8 m in breadth, and 5.5 m in depth, the vessel is classed by Bureau Veritas (BV). It integrates three primary functions – anchor handling, towing, and platform supply – while also offering auxiliary capabilities such as external firefighting, rescue, and oil spill response. This multi?role design enables it to meet diverse operational demands at sea.
Underpinning its robust performance is a dependable power solution: two CAT? 3516C main engines, each delivering 1,920 bkW, provide high torque, rapid response, and ample power reserve. These are complemented by four CAT? C9.3 generator sets, which offer stable power output, low fuel consumption, and reduced emissions – striking an optimal balance between performance and operational efficiency for sustained missions in Turkish waters.
From the Yangtze River to Turkey, Bengbu Shenzhou Machinery and LSH Machinery have joined forces with proven products and quality service to guide this AHTS vessel onto the world stage. This milestone marks a new chapter in their partnership, as both companies continue to advance in the offshore equipment sector and explore broader global opportunities.
