Project Background

The Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport Energy Station employs an integrated multi-energy supply solution comprising two 2,500KW gas internal combustion engines, flue gas/hot water-driven lithium bromide absorption units, a ground-source heat pump system, water thermal storage equipment, electric chiller units, flue gas hot water boilers, and municipal heating supply. The system operates in a grid-connected but non-export mode (i.e., connected to the grid without feeding power back). When the output from the flue gas-driven absorption units is insufficient, other equipment supplements the load. The overall comprehensive energy utilization efficiency of the entire energy station system reaches 84%.
